From the Pocket of a Dream

To be lost in life
among the artificial stars
in a heaven of fiction
where the black hole still rules
over the bright shoulder of Orion
cutting in the flesh of the deceptive mind
playing tricks with the heart
with a desire to be somewhere else
This road too long never ends
eternally lurking its traveller
betraying the wanderer on his way ahead
wanting him to give up to stumble
Indistinct colours all the way
obscure the inviting light in the distance
The last crumb of hope
But the heart won’t let it overcome
The strength lays in a voice of love
Ready to reach out
ready to cut off the ropes
of destruction
