Like
a diamond
like a most precious pearl
my love is sleeping
inside my heart
in the bed
of gold
on the soft
pillow of desires
As an unborn child
innocent and pure it hopes
for a beam of the very first dawn
to come and wake it up
with the gift of
real life
It  
sleeps
unaware
of the truth that
it will never fly outside
this depth of
dream

keep on
sleeping my precious love
Here within the warmth 
in the safety
It is better
like this

should not feel
the taste of a harsh reality
nor the injustices of life

The knowledge
is too painful
