From the Pocket of a Dream

*An Ode to a Poet*

A different kind of a being
passing through
the windy alleys of this world
leaving the unforgetable marks behind

And how is it possible to ever let go
of such a precious soul
fragile and strong
at the same time
where light meets darkness
clinging to each other
deep inside his heart
tearing it
with the endless changes
while the words leak out from his pen
relieving his soul for a while
only to make it tense again
by the hidden weights

A fear of crossing the line
makes me speechless
The reasons are unexplainable
but the desire endures
still yearning the knowledge
needing a cure from the pain that never leaves

The words of his nightmares offer a medicine
within the lines of poems
weaved by the threads of gold

A different kind
A messenger
A poet from the past arisen again
in an eternal search
for the secret essence
not knowing
that the power is his own

Where light meet darkness can certainly be a place to inspire a poet! I’m glad Nimue shared your post at her blog so I could find this. Lovely!

Eclipse, you’ve captured what many feel deep inside… the urging drive to put our feelings into words…

“A different kind…” yet the same.
    There is clarity in darkness.

words leak out from his pen, love this image, makes me think that words have a mind of their own, we have no control over them, we spill them out because we have to.
