EclipseOfTheMoon

From the Pocket of a Dream

*A Waltz Of Death*

The steps of rain echoed
chiming upon the roof
Late september was playing its usual tune
among the rustling leaves
commanding to the waltz of death

The oncoming darkness
within the breath of autumn
made itself felt
again
in its always unpleasent coat of mist

But I loved the fog that year

Pulled out from my strangest dream
you came along with it
A perfect shadow
from a painting of love

Autumn a time when the Sun’s rays grow longer and the trees give up their fruits ready for their long sleep ” A Waltz of Death” as the winds pick up speed and the morning mists roll in…. Love ALL Seasons for they all bring with them their own special flavours..
    As do your words Eclipse…
I am pleased to see that the mists also pulled out a painting of love one that touched your heart and brought the colour back from the shadows of a grey day…. Be Happy Eclipse.. and snuggle up tight to savour the delights of Autumn Days Yet to Come.. with that love you found 🙂 🙂 Dreamwalker xox

You picked my favorite of all the seasons…autumn…a time when the heat/humidity of summer is gone and the cold of winter hasn’t yet arrived.
I love the crispness in the air, all the browns, golds, reds, oranges and yellows.

Beautiful post and a reminder of a season to look forward to.

Beautiful. How many times can I say the same word that seems to fit your words. Simply, beautiful.

I enjoy the months of September and October much because of warmth of late summer mixed with announcements of dying nature – what can there be more poetic 😉 Love your images.
