EclipseOfTheMoon

From the Pocket of a Dream

*Jealousy*

There is
a strange power
an odd fuel
driving us
to judge
before the end

Turn around
and see
The road of lapse
is for the flawless

To sense
a bite in the heart
is just a proof of life

I think when people say they don’t get jealous they’re not being honest with themselves. It’s a natural emotion. I admit, I’m extremely jealous; I’m naturally possessive and over-protective.I do try not to get jealous for the wrong reasons. Unfortunately for all of us, it’s a button that our significant others can push. However, it it reaches that stage, I probably don’t even care anymore.

Jealousy is a nasty feeling indeed, but sometimes it comes unannounced and unwanted and there is very little you can do, it takes more than a strong character to cut it! Your words are stunning as always!

I admire your ability of putting so many feelings and thoughts in short poem.
By the way, I love watching stars on the sky.

Succinct. “There is a strange power an odd fuel driving us to judge
before the end”. This one moved me.
