*Summer In The Shadows Of Sorrow*

Cemetry Uppsala, Sweden

Death must be so beautiful.
To lie in the soft brown earth,
with the grasses waving above one’s head,
and listen to silence.
To have no yesterday and no tomorrow.
To forget time, to forgive life,
to be at peace.

  1. I thought I had commented on this one Eclipse… ” To foget Time”… And to be timeless…. That to me is Death, the Beginning of the End.. 🙂
Wishing you a wonderful evening Eclipse.. ~Sue

  2. ‘to forgive life’; and let it go!
This is a beautiful reminder of life’s impermanance.
the time will come soon enough…

  3. Oscar was a very wise man! The photo is beautiful!

  4. I don’t know if we would know we were under the earth or that the grasses were blowing and such. If I did, being claustrophobic, I’d want out!~! LOL
    Lovely thoughts though!
