From the Pocket of a Dream

What is more sad
than happiness within an illusion
when each step is but a stumble
each breath only a choke

And what’s more cold
than flames at the other side of mirror
behind a frozen glass
where hands can not reach

What is more insane
than a soul in search for answers
thrown deep down
to the unpromising whirl of amazement and lie

And what is more dark
than light
The light beyond hope

I think we can often look to the reflection for answers…. I often wonder if we could but reach inside the glass.. What our reflection would truly say.. and what they saw from their side.. 🙂
a wonderful poem Eclipse.. ~Sue with much love..

This is so deeply touching; I can relate to that emotion (though hope never dies). Extraordinary!

    What is more beautiful
than words coming from a sweet soul,
when the pen and the paper
    sit speechless, honoring the indigo
dripping from a finest heart! 🙂
