From the Pocket of a Dream

*Dressed for Illusion*

For a friend

***

Only
Never
Always
Forever

Words with power of giving life
Words
empty with no meaning
A moment of flight
An eternity of downfall
Hope
taken by the fire of deception
Love
ended by the silence in a bleak room

Instead of safety
we linger dressed for illusion
Yet
the strength ain’t beyond the grasp
Somewhere inside a dream
we still exist

Still
And with the smile always on

I wonder how many of us dress up for the Illusion of this world rather than face reality from within our naked shell..
    ~Peace to you

We have to define our nevers and forevers ourselves. One side of forever may be dressed for illusion (beautiful imagery!), the other side may be real. A very intense piece : ) Btw love your choice of photos/artworks and music : )

Returning to your beautiful blog … thank you for your words … somewhere inside a dream we still exist … and sometimes smiling inspite of tears …I think we women are taught that from early on … Be well, my friend.
