I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all…

  1. I like your style, adding a portrait
    that is in itself a most excellent piece
    and yet you amplify this with these
    photographs… I like that idea 🙂

    Have a very sweet Tuesday Eclipse 🙂

  2. This is lovely. Yes, it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

  3. A beautiful post .. with wonderful music … a perfect ending on my day. Thanks … ha en behaglig helg.

  4. just gold?
    no!
    gold, platinum, oil…

    • I agree with the gold comment, because gold is soft like love should be … platinum is cold … olil is messy … diamonds are hard … it’s got to be gold, hmmm?

  5. A truly memorable quote. Accompanied by another expressive portrait. Wow!
