When The Heart Leads The Way…

~Observers Through Time~

Behind a curtain of many shadows into the eye of seeing this world behind another one
in sleep its reality known
haunting in dreams
And unto whom the stories unfold
the one with the hearing ear
now this whisper
letting in the light
Changing times from the old to new
yet to you maybe the twist of the words
locked to the golden key within
to become this
Long time journey
from darkness to light
yet all of us observers
of the passing time
Life and death dance together
through you, through me
and to whatever time may come
the heart leads the way

  1. A truly inspiring poem, yes hearts lead the way.. and we are travelling faster through time as the Light is growing as it pushes in with a new dawn… as the long night recedes back into the abyss of where it came…
    a wonderful poem from Stefan

  2. The picture is so perfect for the poem – or visa-versa.

  3. Tolle Bilder wünsche eine gute glückliche Woche Grüsse lieb Gislinde.

  4. Love this poem … very much balanced between darkness and light. It’s always from the dark where we see the light most brightly, and it’s always close to death (real or felt) from where we feel life in the most intense way.

  5. I like it’s dark beauty, and love the picture.
    Thank you.

  6. A bit too dark for me …. reminds me about my demons. *smile

    • The poet was once called Dead Poet…but it has been awhile since that. And I assure you – this is one of his lighter poems 🙂
      Thank you for reading Viveka!

      • Great to know – because that was too dark for me .. nearly took all guts out of me. *laughing – don’t know why I reacted like that. I think I have read to many posts about pain, hurt and problems today .. so when I came to you – the air disappeared. *smile
