nothing as bright as your glance
warmth against the ice

I
need you
to promise me
that you’ll wait for me
Because tonight my love
I shall spread my wings
I shall break down
those damn
forbidden
walls
I’ll find
your window
and storm inside
like a dark wounded bird
in hope to breath in
your comforting
words
again
I
shall stay
there with you
until the dawn until
the daylight start to hurt
by the indescribable
pain bringing me
death again
Then
I have to
disappear
back into my chains
But only for the daytime
I will patiently wait
the very next
darkness
to fall
To
be able
to feel my wings
and fly to you over
and over
again

on
the stone
of one dead heart
there is a sign now
a diamond glowing through
the darkness, a drop of
new blood… the
shiny tear of
life

If the heart was a chest
or a coffin
then it would be easy not to breath at nights
It would be easy not to mind
the heavy thoughts
and just lie
peacefully calm
unaware of the darkness
that sneaks around
through the corridors of one tired mind
If the heart was a bucket
or a glass
it wouldn’t be hard to take this sadness out
and pour it
all over the thirsty ground
that would soak it up
and take this pain away
– for a while
If the grief was a weed
I would rip it out
from the land of my heart
I would put it on the trial of life
and force it
to shiver on its own
And then I would burn it
Making the parasite finally
die

I have looked. Looked through.
I saw silence.
I have waited. Way too long.
And I have given up.
I have tried.
But the lake was frozen, stars lay distant
and gulls were gone.
I saw silence.
Then I went.

By a route obscure and lonely,
Haunted by ill angels only,
Where an Eidolon, named Night
On a black throne reigns upright,
I have reached these lands but newly
From an ultimate dim Thule –
From a wild weird clime that lieth, sublime,
Out of space, out of time…

Here comes the sequel of a blogging event named Monthly Photo Challenge “The Changing Seasons” created by Cardinal Guzman. The idea is to capture the changing of a chosen place through the year.
In the gallery below there are some current photos from Mariefred – a picturesque little town in Södermanland, Sweden – where you should never be in a hurry – but enjoy the idyll and peaceful environment with its breathtaking views wherever you look…

If you’re ready to open some doors and would like to join in this week’s travel theme (everyone’s welcome!) here’s what to do:
“Everyone stands alone at the heart of the world,
pierced by a ray of sunlight,
and suddenly it’s evening…”
“Ognuno sta solo sul cuor della terra
trafitto da un raggio di sole:
ed e subito sera…”
