*You Are My Good Wind*

Erased
by the darkest words
time after time
my castle
no longer in the air
belongs to the destroyed illusion

The entrance
into my wide open soul
turned to advantage
A predictable fall of pride
giving
taking
playing with the heart
unaware of a danger
It was a mistake

My heart
not afraid of dying
but of being alive without emotions
put an end to the misery

The candle dies down
the light drops off
An ocean gets wild
threats with the waves of disaster
discarding me to the unknown harbours
I need a good wind now
to sail me home

  1. Good God.. I hear ya, my friend…
    “My heart
    not afraid of dying
but of being alive without emotions
put an end to the misery” — these lines are simply beautiful!!

And then the way you ended the poem,
    “An ocean gets wild
threats with the waves of disaster
discarding me to the unknown harbours” — very very moving…

We just have enough time to make good… but if we spend time thinking about our inhibitions, we may just not have enough time to overcome them..

I really liked this poem! It’s very inspiring!
