From the Pocket of a Dream

*Left Behind*

Shore of Stones -- Don Gray

In the silence at evenings
whispering in vain
waves caress a lonely shore

In the silence at evenings
lying left behind
stones at the seaside of love

Lovely poem. Tenuous Muse connection, at best, however.

And it is sometimes those simple stones, those simple moments which leave behind in us the most precious of memories.

There is sometimes so much to be learned from being still and in silence.

It’s when we communicate most of all with Mother Earth and her bountiful love.

I so enjoy reading your works.

Love the imagery, both in your image itself and in the words that tie love to the shore.
